To a young Dark Sadows fan, House of Dark Shadows was fantastic. Here was one of my favorite shows on the big screen. The original story not hampered by the tv censors.I can highly recommend this movie to all Dark Shadows fans and also those who want to introduced to the world of Dan Curtis. The way they were able to shoot the film totally during the day using filters to simalate night was neat. I saw the movie when it first was released in 1970 and now I still love the movie.
