Fine but for some yellow spots on the plain white endpapers, due to acidification of the paper used. This has transferred to the flaps of the dust jacket; dust jacket VG with a bit of edgewear, but no chipping; there is quite a bit of rubbing; jacket now enclosed in an acid-free mylar protector. A scarce book by the artist who created the popular World Cities series of books. This book has a more melancholy tone behind the visual joke of combining photos of ancient classic statues with modern cartooning.
